There are two main reasons why the SMD LED light does not light up:

One is the issue with the light source, and the other is the issue with the power supply. At present, the light source of SMT LED lights is composed of LED light emitting diode beads. Firstly, disconnect the power supply at home, open the lampshade, and use a multimeter to measure whether the LED light source is broken (LED light emitting diode beads are usually connected in series).

If a multimeter detects that there is no problem with the light source, it depends on whether it is a power issue. Ordinary LED ceiling lights use an external power source, so buying a power source directly to replace it is sufficient. Some LED light manufacturers use poor power sources, and the power source is the most likely component to cause problems.

Method 1:

1. Before turning on the LED light, measure the voltage of the power supply and the current flowing through the LED,

2. Then disassemble and inspect all key components one by one: the driver or power supply, LED light beads, and replace all damaged light beads.

3. Find out the cause of the damage to the LED bead, and if there is an overcurrent, immediately reduce the driving current. Check if there are any problems with the drive, and also find out the reason. If it can be repaired, repair it, and replace it if it cannot be repaired.

If the LED power supply is damaged, buy a power supply with the same parameters such as voltage and current, and stop replacing it.

If there are many damaged LED lights and the damaged LED patch lights are concentrated in the same area, the damaged section can be cut off and re welded.

If you have a certain level of electronic knowledge, buy the same model of LED light, hold a soldering iron in hand, and re weld it. But then again, there are many LED patch light components on each LED light strip, one or two of which are broken and have little impact on the brightness.

Method 2:

1. If the LED power supply is damaged, buy a power supply with the same parameters such as voltage and current, and stop replacing it.

2. If there are many damaged LED lights and the damaged LED patch lights are concentrated in the same area, the damaged section can be cut off and re welded.

3. If you have a certain level of electronic knowledge, buy the same model of SMD LED light, hold a soldering iron in hand, and re solder it. But then again, there are many LED SMD light components on each SMD LED strip, one or two of which are broken and have little impact on brightness.
