The control forms of LED include constant current and constant voltage, and there are multiple dimming methods, such as imitation dimming and PWM dimming. Most LEDs use constant current control, which can maintain the stability of LED current, be less susceptible to VF changes, and extend the service life of LED lamps.

1. Monochromatic infrared LED beads: Ordinary monochromatic infrared LED beads: Ordinary monochromatic infrared LED beads have the advantages of small size, low working voltage, small working current, stable average light emission, fast response speed, and long lifespan. They can be driven and lit by various DC, AC, pulse and other power sources. It belongs to current controlled semiconductor devices and requires a suitable current limiting resistor to be connected in series during operation.

2. Blue light infrared LED bead (LED): The emission color of ordinary monochromatic infrared LED bead is related to the emission wavelength, which in turn depends on the semiconductor material used to manufacture the infrared LED bead. The wavelength of infrared LED beads is generally 650-700nm, amber infrared LED beads is generally 630-650nm, orange LED beads is generally 610-630nm, yellow infrared LED beads is generally 585nm, and green infrared LED beads is generally 555-570nm.

3. High Brightness Monochromatic Infrared LED Beads: High Brightness Monochromatic Infrared LED Beads and Ultra High Brightness Monochromatic Infrared LED Beads use different semiconductor materials than ordinary monochromatic infrared LED Beads, so the intensity of light emission is also different. Usually, high brightness monochromatic infrared LED beads use materials such as gallium aluminum arsenide (GaAlAs), ultra-high brightness monochromatic infrared LED beads use materials such as gallium indium arsenide phosphide (GaAsNP), and ordinary monochromatic infrared LED beads use materials such as gallium phosphide (GaP) or gallium arsenide phosphide (GaAsP).
